Ghorepani Poon Hill trekking is five days, moderate lodge base trip located 246 kilometers northwest of Kathmandu. It is a short and incredible journey for nature lovers along the terraced fields, village, river valley, and rhododendron forest. The holiday begins from Nayapul (1070 m), which is 44 km northwest of Pokhara (827 m) and ends to Phedi (1080 m) that is 16 km far to Pokhara. The hiking requires uphill and downhill trails with ACAP permit and TIMS card.

The man-made tower (3210 m) of Poon Hill is interesting for sunrise and sunset views over the highest mountain of the world, including Mt. Dhaulagiri 8167 m (7th), Mt. Manaslu 8163 m (8th) and Mt. Annapurna 8091 m (10th) with the deepest Kali Gandaki Valley (6997 m). Trekkers explore a rural lifestyle, cuisine, ethnic dress, ornaments, civilization, tradition, flora, fauna, and landscapes. Every morning 300 tourists visit in September, October, November, December, March, April, and May.
