Ghorepani / Pun Hill Trek

This 5 days trek starts from Pokhara, the natural capital of Nepal. We will drive for an hour and half to the trekking trail head of Nayapul. The trail follows upstream Burungdi valley and climbs 1,700 m to Ghorepani ridge in couple of days. The walking gives true insight into Nepalese countryside. Ghorepani has the best close up view of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Range. Next morning we will climb to Pun Hill for sunrise over these Himalayan peaks. As the early sun rays hits the snow peaks, the change in color is charismatic. Trek along the ridge through the Rhododendron forest to beautiful village of Ghandruk. Ghandruk village is dominated by Gurungs, famed as brave Gurkha soldiers. Gurung is one of the most interesting ethnic group in Nepal. The village tour will give you more understanding of the people and mountain culture. Ghandruk has got beautiful view of Annapurna South, Huinchuli and Mt Fishtail. Finally we will trek down to Nayapul and then drive to Pokhara.
