While in Namche Bazaar you can visit the Sherpa Museum within the National Park where you will be able to observe the history and culture of the Sherpas. You will also get insights regarding how Sherpas have been associated with high altitude climbing since a very long time. Every town you will come across has a monastery, amongst which Tenboche and Khumjung are the most visited ones. In Khumjung monastery you can pay a donation and get a chance to see the skull of the mythical Yeti. And all the houses in Khumjung have green roof tops which is why it is also locally referred to as the green valley.
