Ghorepani poon hill trekking is one of the popular trekking in Annapurna region. This trekking route offers superb Himalayan views including the Mount Dhaulagiri 8167m, Annapurna I 8091m, Fishtail / Machhapuchhre 6998m, Nilgiri 7041m, Annapurna south 7219m, Annapurna II 7939m, Annapurna III 7555m, Annapurna IV 7525m, Lamjung Himal 6988m, Hiunchuli 6441m, Tukuche peak 6920m etc. Ghorepani poon hill 3210m is one of the best viewpoint in Annapurna region trekking. This trekking route is one of the easier trekking trail in Annapurna region which can be done with in one weeks. In recent, Ghorepani poon hill trekking trail has become a very popular and busy place for trekking, after opening in 1997. A few lucky scientist expedition groups had trekked into this region in the past 1950's. A tiny place to look the panoramic view from poon hill.
This route offers some of the most dramatic close-up views of the highest and most beautiful mountains in the world. This trekking route passes through rhododendron and mixed forest alive with ferns and birds, through spectacular villages of the Gurkha soldiers with their spectacular Himalayan back drops leads to Ghorepani 2850m. The following morning visits Poon Hill at 3210 m . a vantage point to view the Dhaulagiri (8167 m) and the Annapurna massif. This trekking makes a small circuit and visits Tadapani (2050 m), Ghandruk gurung village and finally ends at pokhara than by flight or by tourist bus back to Kathmandu. We will arrange this trekking according to trekker's and desire.
