Kalinchowk not only offers stunning views of Himalayas it also covers the traditional route of Everest base camp via Jiri. Kalinchowk lies at a height of 3800m & the popular Kalinchowk Bhagwati is a part of Gaurishankar Conservation Area from where two rivers Sun Kosi and Tama Kosi originate.
At the top of the hill you can visit the shrine of Kalinchowk Bhagwati (a Hindu Goddess) which is surrounded by metal tridents and bells and the snowy spires of Gaurishankar and other Himalayan peaks rearing majestically in the background. Kuri Village is the place where we stay which lies at a height of 3200m. On winter, you will likely see the village covered with snow & that is a good news for snow adventurers. You can hit the slopes of Kalinchowk & have fun sliding down
