Mera Peak Amphu Lapcha La Pass trip offers extreme adventure at Upper Hinku valley inside the Everest and Khumbu region of Nepal. Climbing Mera Peak is the highest trekking permitted peaks of Nepal. And is widely acknowledged by climbers for being technically difficult and challenging peak. The first ascent of Mera Peak was also made in 1953 by J.O.M. Roberts and Sen Tenzing. But, the proper ascent made by French climbers M. Jolly, G. Baus and L. Honnis in 1975. The peak rises to the south of Everest and dominates the watershed between Hinku and Hongu valleys.
