Butwal Dhago Karkhana

The idea for Karkhana was born at the Monsoon Collective, a month-long workshop for independent creators, engineers, and inventors. It was here that co-founder Sakar Pudasaini attended in July 2012. A few months later, he met fellow co-founders Sunoj Shrestha, Pavitra Gautam, and Suresh Ghimire at a Google Developer Group Bar Camp. By December, the four had come to an agreement to create a company together. Experimentation, collaboration, and play are the core values of Karkhana, even in its business endeavors. They strive to be both makers and teachers. The maker works to discover solutions, while the teacher nurtures a new generation of makers.
