Budget Adventure Treks & Expedition - Kathmandu

I ended up booking a 15 day Manaslu Circuit trek here, mainly because I happened to be staying in the Hotel in Thamel where the office is so it was easy for me to inquire … boy did I make the right choice!

I had done a fair bit of research before I went and really wanted to do the Manaslu Circuit. They did not actually have Manaslu in their brochure, but all I had to do was provide an example itinerary from my research. Off the back of this Sudip (who was more that helpful) tailored this based on his experience and I ended up with a customised trek at a fraction of the cost of the same done from the UK.

My Sherpa, Dawageljee, was a great guy, knowledgeable about the area, people and wildlife. As well as sorting out my every need for the whole trek he adjusted the different days as we went (depending on whether I was shattered or not!). Guiding me and some fellow trekkers over Larkya Pass in the dark with a lot of fresh snow completely (to me) hiding the path was damn impressive. A young man with a bright future.

On top of sorting the trek Sudip booked me a great hotel for my time in Pokhara and could also have saved me a fair bit on internal flights had I not already paid online.

Would recommend to anyone and when I (inevitably) return to Nepal it will be the first place I call.
